POETS CORNER
-
MIRAGE
One is a golden leaf.
Another barely a shadow.
Some heat beyond belief.
Walk in a flowery meadow.
-
The fruit is sweet.
The grass is green.
Cold wind, snow, and sleet ...
Opaque white covers clean ...
-
There's a
stirring conclusion.
The blood
never boils.
There's
a fluid transfusion
Over superheated coils.
-
The vapor escapes volume
From a liquid contaminant.
Blood red color glazed column
From a crystal
containment.
-
Metal flows upward.
Suspended in motion.
Petal falls awkward.
Blue-green white waved ocean
-
Knee deep in pollution.
Smelling flowers in air.
Believe there's a solution.
Mazy gardens are somewhere.
-
Blue-green
white waved ocean ...
Mirage? Must have been a mirage.
Blue-green white
waved ocean ...

Hello, My Green Friend
Green is yellow and blue.
Green's not the air we breathe.
Yet, we may
see that day too.
Know what to do to achieve
Clean, yellow and
blue, skies?
While we were loving the sun,
Too long, we ignored the lies.
Now the Green War’s begun!
Hello
again, My Green Friend,
There’s no more time to pretend.
Together, we shall fight to defend...
Earth
from a cloud of destruction,
In this fight to end Mass Pollution!

Wake Up and Go Green
Green, the color of the envy.
Like the leaves on a tree,
You know you’d want ‘em
If they’re worth money.
And all your friends got ‘em.
-
Green is beautiful, the new black
Pollution
is our silent enemy.
Never know you’re under attack
Until you try to swallow plenty.
-
Close your eyes, don’t
take a breath.
Hide all day, until it just goes away.
Don’t worry about a sudden death.
You can live with it, until
someday.
-
Maybe you can
sleep all night,
Sentenced to death by smokestack.
Maybe you’ll wake up in fright
And get up and go on the attack.

War Paint
Territorial rites denied.
Forcing us to take a side.
Estimating the outcome.
Of the death toll sum.
Smoke signals declare.
The odds are unfair.
Gathering berries
in the sun.
Frightened prey
on the run.
Smearing Mother
Earth's dyes.
Bidding our last
goodbyes.

Tonic
Stillness breathes new life into
space.
The cold silence of conscience
Revolves in orbit, without a trace,
Into afterthoughts of simplicity.
Mesmerized by a prismatic vision.
Crying
ionospheric electricity,
Exhausted tears' cloudless prison,
The captured tides ebb and flow.
Quench
the thirst of tortured land.
Desolation might have evolved
long ago.
Now, silt just sifts through sieves of sand.

Master Gunnery Sergeant
Christ, look out they're coming.
What on Earth,
What's it
all becoming,
What on Earth?
I'd cry at the sight ...
Of
lovers in delight.
This is a full hearted revolution.
We're
here to find the solution.
Don't turn back behind ...
To avoid what you find.
Take aim, lock
on what's in sight.
A war is won with all your might.
There is no more ...
Of what was before.
After the deep pain it took in,
We all thought we would win!
I fired green bullets automatically
...
As I ran frantically.
But, don't' ever say I didn't try.
I just wasn't quite ready to die.
Bombs set to ignite,
May end the fight.
Inevitably, before you mend your wounds.
You have to help dig your troop's tombs.
Christ, It's not too late.
Please, don't end our fate.

Imagine
Nations
Imagine nations
...
Under one God.
Think before you nod.
Imagine nations ...
Running free.
In democracy.
Imagine
nations ...
Naturally sound.
No freeways around.
Imagine nations ...
Joining hands.
Across desert
sands.
Imagine nations ...
Regarding the same.
Assuming one name.
Imagine nations ...
Color blind.
What would we find.
Imagine this Image ...
